4. Weather

300 days of sunshine per year? It is possible in the south of Portugal. The more you go up to the north, the less sunshine there is. However, the weather remains favorable.

Winter in the south is mild, around Lisbon is a little rainy.

In the Alentejo or the hinterland of the Algarve, temperature is around 40 ° C in summer at 8pm. To nap on the beach is recommended between 12h and 16h to avoid sunburn.

Portugal offers lots of choices for your leisure life. Whether to enjoy the beautiful mountain scenery or to enjoy the splendid sea view and beach alongside the coastline, nature lovers will be very delighted.

Portugal has many fantastic golf courses attracting golf lovers from all over the world. In fact, there are about 80 golf courses with high quality and fabulous landscapes in different regions, which is sure to provide you a unique experience.

Water sports and football is also very popular in Portugal. The country has many good stadiums and water parks in the south.
